Here comes the bride....

Finally!!! The event of the summer! Mom and Dad got hitched :)  Man o man it's about time!

I had a blast! EVERYONE was there!

Rallying in the Valley!

This weekend was a busy one for many Rock Valley people! It was the annual Rally in the Valley, there are many events, which I won't go into today, I'm too pooped from the main event I participated in:

The P-A-R-A-D-E!!

Mom and I walked with the Hegg Memorial/Whispering Heights floats!  It was a western theme this year.

Here is the Whispering Height's float! It's pretty cool, dontcha think? The grandmas and grandpas had a blast!

My buddies, Bryson, Merrik, & Jaivyn were on the Hegg Memorial float with their mom too! They look like real cowboys...I've got a ways to go!

What a parade! We all saw a lot of people we know! After all that excitement I was WIPED!

Mom and I took a nap.

After I went to bed, Mom & Fran heard a lot of ruckus outside....it was fireworks!  So mom and Fran sat on the back step and watched them.  There were a few tree branches in the way, but they got the jist of it.

Fran was shivering in fear the whole time, so mom had to hold her....what a baby!

Spring Cleaning

Nothing else to do on a Friday evening than to go through my toy basket to see if I can get rid of any toys I've outgrown!

I have been super lucky this year...I've got a bunch of good friends born around when I did!  I also have a few more friends that haven't been born yet!

Today mom, Aunty Shannon, and I went to visit Aunty Rachel, she had to stay in the hospital...so we kept her some company!

While we were there, I took the opportunity to get more acquainted with Aunty Shannon's baby that's still baking!

I had to show Aunty Rachel where Baby Bouma was baking!

What mom!! You mean I was in your tummy too....you've gotta be kidding!

Wait....how is Baby Bouma supposed to come outta there? Mom...mom...quit ignoring my question!



Baby Bouma is due October 9....which means I'm totally sending him/her an invite to my birthday, we'd have a blast!

Since I have 6 teeth I thought it was only right that the parents get me a toothbrush!

Friend Time!!

On Sunday, dad, mom & I went out to Alton, Ia and visited the Plathe's!  I was especially excited to see my gal pal Gia again!  It was fun because now we both crawl around and sometimes we played together!

What a week this turned out to be...

As you remember, earlier this week I got a nibble out of my arm.

Well, it happened again!

You can see I had quite the bite marks...its someone who has about 5-7 teeth!

I was ok with it though!

But things got worse...

Here's the situation, the rocking chair and I got in a fight...the rocking chair won:

Its a little rosey here...

Then this morning it looked  a little worse-

 My first (and not last) black eye! I'm trying to take it like a man!

Whoa...look at all that stuff in there!  I rose above my black eye pity party and ventured to learn how to open cupboards.

I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more....

This past Wednesday mom and I had to go to Sioux Falls to visit a specialist about my skull shape...turns out I don't need a helmet...but that's besides the point!  We had to stop in at Target on the way home because I was out of wipes....well mom found a new toy for me.  I have to thank Aunty Alieneke for this one...she told mom how much my cousins liked using these!!  Here I am on Wednesday:

               ...here I am on Sunday! About 4 days of practising later and I think I've got the hang of it!

We were playing so nicely...and out of NOWHERE a little lady friend of mine chomped my arm.  I think it's a love bite!  I asked daddy what I did wrong, and he just said sometimes women do things you just don't understand...

She better watch out, I've got 6 teeth, so I can probably get her back pretty good...plus the 28lbs I've got behind those 6 teeth :)

 

The weekend in the great outdoors!

This past weekend mom, dad, and I got to go to Canada for a vacation with mom's side of the family!

It was a 10hr drive to Canada, and once we got to Oma and Opa's we slept there one night, then it was off to the camp!

The computer is taking FOREVER to download pictures- so I'm just going to share what I've got so far :)
