A week in review

A sincere apology to all my followers, I have been slacking on my posting!

And since last week was quite eventful, I thought I'd give a little review of what I've been up to!

Here are some things I was up to!

1. Mom and dad took me for a couple walks on the trails.  They had to push me, I've got it so easy!

2.  I was able to experience what at daycare they call a swing!  It's so fun to go outside...I usually sneak a quick cat nap while I'm out there!

3.  It was St.Patrick's Day! I had a shirt to match the occasion!

Of course mom had to snap a photo!

Thankfully there aren't many more special holidays anytime soon! Mom can quit dressing me up!

I also got to go back to Heathers! She was having a jewelry party...so it was just me and the ladies!

4. I spent Friday evening and overnight with Grandma and Grandpa...I had so much fun that I woke up a few times at night to play with them!

5. On Saturday Mom, Aunt Rachel and I went shopping...for what felt like forever!  Mom had all her coupons with her as usual...but she did buy me a bunch of summer clothes!  I also helped pick some stuff out for my new buddy-to-be...Baby Van Egdom! Can't wait to meet him...only 8 more weeks until we get to hang out!

6. Then Sunday was another busy day!  We went to Sioux Falls with Uncle Adam to visit dad's cousin Amber and her husband Heath.  They have a baby girl, Kendra, who needs a little extra TLC, so she's staying at the hospital.  It was fun seeing pictures of Kendra and playing with Amber!

7. And finally today....wow it was busy!  Daycare was a blast! They took all of us on a ride in the buggies! We went over to the nursing home and guess who was prancing down the hall...my big sister Fran!  I didn't know what to think!  Then mom heard all the commotion, and she was surprised to see me! To be honest she was kind of embarassing...I need to play it cool infront of all my friends and all.

After daycare, mom took me for a walk with Tammy and Milinda.  Then all of a sudden we'd speed up...then slow down...speed up....slow down.  I had NO idea what was going on.  But they were having a good time, they sounded like a bunch of hens...clucking away, so I took a nap.

After the running and walking mom was trying to multi-task...making supper and feeding me!

She started to focus on making supper so I had to fend for myself!

I don't really get it yet!

After this mom....discovered....I...have a TOOTH!  It's not ready to be seen quite yet...but of course the paparazzi had to try and steal a picture!

I refuse to show off my pearly white until it's totally ready!! Mom will just have to be patient!

This was quite a long blog, hope you all didn't get too bored!  Trying to keep tabs of my life...it's getting harder to recall!

I sat, crossed my ankles, and watched tv!

I sat, folded my hands, and watched tv.

 I sat, talked to mom, and tried to touch my toes!

I sat, crossed my arms, and flirted with the camera

I had to take a break from my multitasking to figure out this toy....what is that white thing on there?

Maybe if I just tried to rip it off....

 ...not....wor...king...ugh

Ah forget it, I'll just gnaw it off!



 I should never have let mom and dad know that I can sit now...it's all they make me do these days!  I'll just not tell them I can get up if I tip over...that'll get me some attention!

Lazy Sunday

I'm not feeling so hot, so I stayed in today!

I did stay pretty busy though!

Mom gave me her old phone so I could text all my bff's at daycare.  Can't wait to see them tomorrow!

I helped mom do some wedding planning.

I drooled and entertained the parents!

Monday Funday!

This past weekend I got to hang out with Oma and Opa!  We had a blast!  Mom and Oma went shopping on Saturday so I got to hang out with dad and Opa most of the day, with a pit stop off at Grandma and Grandpa's too.

Mom didn't get any photo ops, but Oma sure did!

Since I don't have much to say about the weekend, I'll fill you in on how much fun I had on Monday!

First off, Mom and I got to sleep in a bit because I had a check-up with Dr.Greene in the morning.  Then we lounged for a bit!

So at the clinic I got weighed and measured, I'm 19lbs and 27.5inches tall!  Dr. Greene was nice as usual, she said I was strong, what every man wants to hear.  She even prescribed me some cream for my itchy scalp! What a lady :)

After the check up I got to see all my friends at daycare! Boy did I miss them over the weekend. So after we all caught up on what we did this weekend, we did a craft! Check it out:

After this busy day I was so pooped that I took a long nap on mom's lap.  I even slept through Aunty Rachel stopping by....how could I!  I told mom to wake me up next time!

I am starting to get my balance a bit more these days...but it squishes my tummy a bit!

As you can tell my Valentine at daycare turned me down-she wasn't into younger men...maybe next year.  But for now I'm with Pepe...Love Stinks!

I did get to hang out with my favorite ladies at mom's work! My apologies for my lack of smiles this evening, I was still bummed about my Valentine.  Mom said she'd be my Valentine but that's just creepy!

My Weekend Away

Mom and dad went to a wedding out in California, so I got to get away too! I went half way across town and stayed with Grandma and Grandpa.

Boy did they keep me busy!

We did all sorts of fun activities.

I started every morning catching up on the news with Grandpa by reading this thing called the newspaper.  Mom doesn't have those around the house.  She usually talks about what was on the Today show and Facebook.

I chowed down on some toys.

I drooled a bit too.

I spent some time in the exersaucer, loved every minute of it!

Grandpa let me do my tummy time on his tummy! I'm so spoiled.

Grandma & Grandpa had visitors, Stan & Nancy Speer, so I stole the show and entertained them while they were there.  They were a pretty good time!  Can't wait to hang out with them again!

Grandma read me interesting story books before bed.

And I had one of my firsts there too.....

I watched my first Super Bowl!  It was quite the game.

I'm trying to convince the parents to leave again so I can go back!
