Happy Fourth!

Here are some shots from my UBER busy Canada Day/Fourth of July Weekend!

Aunty Ashley was in town so she and Aunty Rachel joined us at the beach!

After the beach we went home, quick got cleaned up, then went to the campground to hang out with some friends!  Jaivyn decided to hitch a ride with us!

We all got pretty burned on Saturday, so we took a break from the sun on Sunday...but we were out and about Monday!!

I decided to roam away from the blankets

I had to go retrieve my pink rake-like thing!

                          Whew it was super HOTTTT out! Mom made sure I stayed hydrated!

     Later that evening we had some friends come over to my place!  My two buds chilled out on my
                                 blanket for a bit!  Madden didn't like a joke Tacey told.....

OHHHHHH CANADA!!!

Happy Canada Day!!

Since I am  50% Canadian, mom insisted that I dress the part!

We tried to spread the Canadian-ness around!  Mom made some festive brownie bites for me to take to daycare, and she took some to work!

So after a busy day of playing with my friends, mom and I went home and I did some standing...some crawling, and some more standing....I even try to stand without holding on to anything!



It was SOO hott that mom & I went out to River's Bend to float around a bit.  Then I enjoyed a cold one on the beach....ahhhhh.  We're going back tomorrow! Can't wait!!

After alllll that Canadian-ness I needed a nap!  Luckily Billingsworth was in the mood for a snooze too!

Don't fret, I'll be patriotic on Monday too! Promise!

Mischeviousness...My New Addiction

So I'm really getting used to this whole crawling and standing up thing!  Once I get the hang of it there seems to be a plethora of adventures I can partake in!

Before I get into the nitty gritty of my mischeviousness, I must give a belated shout out to Dad!

So today I was cruising around and I found this:

 Its a mini swimming pool!  I tried to splash around but mom put a stop to that!

I pulled myself up on the ottoman!  I've been trying for days, it's a tricky one because it moved EVERYTIME I touch it!  Not fair...but I mastered it!

I'm sticking my tongue out at mom!

Fran and I played a game of Hide and Seek....1....2....3....4....5......Ready or not! Here I come!

Fran didn't really get the importance of the hiding part!

The other morning mom had to help me out a bit...I got just a tad stuck in the crib!

Look Out World!

Mom, Aunty Rachel and I went to visit Aunty Shannon & Uncle Brian this weekend.  I've been waiting for the perfect moment to show my skills...so I figured I might as well get it over with!  So, when mom was in the shower, and the others were hanging out with me, I decided to start crawling!

I also started to clap!

This morning, before we left for home, they busted me pulling myself up on the laundry basket!  I couldn't resist seeing what was in there!



Woof....

I've got one of my canine teeth ALMOST peeking through.

This one hurts like a bugger!  Nothing made me happy...not even cuddling with mommy.

So I am currently yaking to Billingsworth in bed....hopefully this ow-ie tooth thing doesn't keep me up allllll night!

Water Logged

When we were in Thunder Bay, my buddy Kaleb gave me an awesome kiddy pool!

Today it was finally warm enough to break it out!

Mom didn't tell me that I was going to get to use it today, she set it up while I napped....what a grand surprise!  If I knew what she had up her sleeve I wouldn't have slept for 2.5 hours!

I played with my tub toys.  Mom promised me I could get some pool toys!

I found the drain right away.  Mom warned me not to pull the plug or all the water would disappear.

The frog has legs too! They are on there pretty good!

I couldn't resist eating one...I've never had frog legs before.

....after we got in the house, mom told me we were headed out to swim with Tacey and her brothers! I'll have pictures of that here shortly!!

Lately's

This past weekend was so very busy for us! It was just packed full of fun activities....

Mom was trying to be funny, she put her shower cap on me.  Who wears a shower cap these days anyways?

This is my very first rice snack!  They are yummy and I devour them very quickly.

On Saturday, I got my pictures taken, and mom & dad got some pictures taken too.  Aunty Rachel came along to keep me smiling and keep me company too :)

Right after the photoshoot we went straight to Aunty Rachel's house, where Aunty Shannon was waiting! 



Aunty Shannon wanted a non-chalent photo-op...I got stage fright!



Aunty Rachel just HAD to put a Germany shirt on me!  Side note: Aunty Rachel is German...not Dutch...but we still love her!

I got to sit on Aunty's great play mat while the old people at their ribs!

I got hungry watching them eat all that grub!

Uncle Alex felt bad, so he let me taste a bit!   He's my new BFF.







This is me getting into some trouble...I love helping mom fold the laundry, even though she usually has to refold it all!

On Sunday we went over to Mark & Dawn's house! There were a lot of kids there to watch!  Tyke and Marah came to play with me for a while! I think they are pretty cool.

On Monday, Memorial Day, mom and dad took me to the pancake breakfast at the Christian School.  I begged, but the rents wouldn't let me have a pancake...how lame.  They promise I can next year....counting down the days!

After that, we watched dad mow the lawn and then we got ready to go hang out at the campground!

I've got my 100SPF on....

Mom turned to see what Fran wanted....and....

....I've propped myself up! READY to go!!

I had so much fun with everyone that I needed to take a quick nap to gain my energy again.

Mom has me in training to help walk the dog.  Fran was very cooperative!

I'm getting really good at eating these rice snack things now! Gobble gobble them up!

Hallo! My day in Oranje Stat!

Mom and Dad took me & Aunty Rachel to the Tulip Festival today!

Of course it entailed some photos....
